These pouches arrived well sealed in a larger clear resealable ziplock pouch. I squeezed one pouch into my coffee and it was OK. I am used to drinking liquid refrigerated and flavored coffee creamers and this one, despite having a fair amount of sugar in it, doesn't have any flavorings for the coffee. The texture of the creamer was more like a sweetened condensed milk. It did mix into the coffee nicely. I like that these are shelf stable and don't need to be refrigerated. It makes them convenient to bring camping or fishing.
These definitely meet a need! My daughter has taken to liking something she calls "Thai Tea" I'm not enough of a tea snob to know what sets it completely different, except that she adds sweetened condensed milk to it. And to open an entire can of sweetened condensed milk seem like such a waste!These packets fill that need. Individual portion size, packed in a way that does not require refrigeration. Shelf-stable. So when she heads back to college, she will take the remaining ones with her, and not have to worry about an entire can that cannot possibly be used quickly.
Love to use sweetened condensed milk in my coffee. These singles are great for travel. The little cups of creamer are easy to accidentally break open if you try to take those. These are fairly thick packets. Thicker than catsup packets and will hold up in a purse or bag getting jostled around.Flavor is good. Slightly different than carnation but not noticeable when mixed in my coffee.
This is the equivalent of 1.5 cans of condensed milk, spread into 24 convenient packets. The flavor is fresh, milky, creamy and delicious, and the texture is runny and easy to mix. Each packet is just enough to flavor one cup of strong Vietnamese coffee. It feels more watery than canned condensed milk (hence the ease of mixing), but I compared the fat, protein and sugar percentages on the nutrition facts label with those of Eagle condensed milk, and they're in fact comparable. Soo I guess it's not actually watered down, which is good!Also great that it's made with just milk and sugar. You may not have noticed it before, but some cheap cans that look like condensed milk are actually full of palm oil instead of milk, which is why they have to be labeled "creamer" instead of condensed milk. These guys are the real deal!Admittedly, the price is much higher than 1.5 cans of condensed milk. But you're paying for the single-serving convenience.
